Cardia Bioplastics was formed in 2002 by a visionary team that understood that the future of plastics needed a change to adapt to decreasing oil supplies, increasing sustainability product demands and in order to minimise waste.

Since then we have earned a reputation as global innovators, market leaders and trusted partners by delivering exceptional results. Our team of technical packaging experts combine decades of packaging industry experience with a dedication to developing sustainable solutions making them lead the sustainable packaging space.

We work with leading companies and governments globally to develop sustainable packaging and product component solutions. Major household names, such as Breville, Kimberly-Clark, Kmart, McDonalds, Sealed Air, Nestlé, Henkel, 7-Eleven have used our packaging or product component solutions.

We work with companies that are bringing about change. Whether it is developing compostable diapers / nappies, Biohybrid™ water bags, compostable ice cream sticks or replacing plastic shopping bags with compostable ones, Cardia Bioplastics works with leaders, be they large or small businesses.

Our work with councils around the world from USA, Canada, UK, Brazil, Maldives, China, Malaysia to Australia and New Zealand, is changing how household waste is managed. Through our compostable bags and waste management systems that can be used inside a home or outside, we have facilitated the shift of tons of waste from landfills to composting. It is transforming not just systems but also creating behaviour change.

The demand for Compostable and Biohybrid™ bags and products has delivered growth of Cardia Bioproducts; finished bags and products for homes, businesses, shops, hospitality, medical, agricultural and transporting businesses just to name a few.

We are excited about a future where bags, packaging and products no longer form part of the waste problem; instead by being biodegradable compostable they are part of a solution.

Cardia Bioproducts are the quality sustainable choice.
