Cardia Biohybrid™ resins are an innovative blend of GMO free renewable plant based materials and traditional polyolefins. Products, films and bags made from Cardia Biohybrid™ resins are heavy metal free and can contain a high content of sustainable material. This patented technology has allowed a breakthrough in sustainable products and packaging, providing a high renewable content combined with a reduced carbon footprint, verified by independent Life Cycle Assessment. 

 

Cardia Bioplastics' resins are made from materials that are cultivated and annually renewable and that have a carbon foot print that is up to 70% lower than that of conventional petroleum based polyethylene.
